Bobcats shootaround

I decided to do the Bobcats shoot around this morning in hopes of getting Kemba Walker. The Bobcats are just an awful team, but they do have a few decent players. Unfortunately I only had one item for Kemba and nothing for anybody else (I was so unprepared it was ridiculous) the whole team ended up passing me which was frustrating because I could've really cleaned up, but I did manage to get Kemba

Oklahoma City Thunder Shoot Around

I did the Thunder on their way to morning shoot around. Kevin Durant continued to prove why he is the nicest superstar in sports. Both him and Russell Westbrook signed for everybody waiting. Overall a great morning!

UCLA Alumni Game

Was pretty excited about this because a buddy of mine that went last year told me that Utley showed up and he did six things for him. Unforuntaly no Utley this here. A lot of no shows, which was kind of disappointing.

Trevor Bauer- 3/3, 2/2 (pic with) "Do you want me to do all three?" (was cool and talkative, kind of switched it up with how many he'd sign for each grapher.)
Gerrit Cole- 1/4, 1/1, 1/1, 1/1 "Do you have a preference to what card you want signed." (Had help, a bunch of my friends finished up their stuff for him in the AFL and were willing to help with my cards)

CP3 Celebrity Bowling Event

I had saw plenty of advertisements for Chris Paul charity bowling event which is supposed to air on ESPN on Super Bowel Sunday, but with the cheapest ticket being 75 dollars and the location not making it public who else would be attending, I kind of put it off. On Tuesday I looked at their website again just to see if they ever released the celebrity list and what do you know I find the scheduled to attend list
Reggie Bush
Kevin Hart (comedian & actor)
Michael Strahan
Jesse Williams (actor)
Blake Griffin
When I saw the list, I decided that with all my Griffin failures over the past two years, I had to go. I purchased two tickets for 150 and brought my girlfriend. We were one of the first to arrive to the event and I really had no idea what it would be like or if it was even okay to bring in memorabilia to get signed, but I got in with my binder without trouble and just started waiting for guests to show up. The first one to show was Reggie Bush, quite frankly I have heard that he can be a jerk, but my girlfriend is a huge fan. We waited for him to get done with his red carpet duties and he came over to us and signed without an issue. He was super cool and pretty talkative. Pleasantly surprised.
Michael Strahan came by at the exact same time so I was unable to get him. Next up CP3 came through. Again after his red carpet duties he walked towards the lane (where we were standing and I asked him if he could sign. He immediately asked for my name, and then looked up and turned to someone and said we got this autograph stuff here? I replied, "I paid a lot of money to be able to come to this event for your charity." He responds, "I aint talking about you." While looking at some guy in a Chris Paul jersey. After my personalized my 8x10 he signed my girlfriends photo in the bottom right hand corner. Definitely wasn't as cool as I expected him to be. The event was supposed to start at 7. At 715 I am getting real worried that Blake will be a no show, right at that time someone comes on the PA and says, "some of our celebrity guests are stuck in this lovely LA traffic." A few moments later Blake walks in. After his red carpet duties a slew of other people were now waiting with us trying to get Blake's autograph on bowling pins that they obtained from the alley. He had some publicists with him that and she said, he will not be signing or taking pictures. 
The event started after that and I was kind of frustrated and had no idea if I would have another opportunity, but in between games all celebrities, except Bush came over and signed for people as well. I didn't dare try to double dip cp3, but my girlfriend and I both got one Griffin and one Strahan.
